Penny has an interesting backstory, starting her career in hospitality and then undertaking roles in insurance and private equity before following her passion into HR.

Penny joined Volkswagen Group UK’s board in 2016 when she was appointed Group People Director, following a number or promotions within the organisation.
In these roles, she grasped the opportunity to understand the mechanics of the business and gained valuable experience in deploying change initiatives.
